Welcome, Florida hoopers! If you are looking to connect with other area hoop dancers, then you've come to the right place. Abby from Hoola Monsters is the moderator of this group (based in the Tampa Bay area). Feel free to check out Hoola Monsters for events, classes and workshops in Tampa, St. Pete, Clearwater and the surrounding areas. We often host visiting hoop dancers from all over the US, too, which helps to expand our knowledge and grow the Sunshine State hoop dance community. In the past, we've hosted Baxter from The Hoop Path, Brecken from Oakland, Anah from LA, and HoopGirl from San Francisco. We have also organized the World Premiere of "The Hooping Life" documentary at the Sarasota Film Festival. We invite you to stay informed by connecting with us here! 386 FAC

If you're anywhere near the Daytona/Ormond area, check out our local flow arts group.

The 386 FAC is a Social Arts Community. We are non-profit and open to the public, anyone and everyone is welcome to join. Your role in the community is determined by how active you are within it. From prop manipulators, fire performers, musicians, artists of any type for that matter, the 386 FAC strives to be active and have a positive social role within the communities we interact with. The name “386” is in fact the area code for Volusia County, but in no way is our reach or members confined to this county due to growth within our community. So far we have had successful event gatherings from Venues with Clubs 18+, festivals weve thrown ourselves, to public park meetings spreading word and drawing attention to make a name for ourselves. We are all about respecting the community and its people. Always make sure to clean up after ourselves with anything and everything’s we do. The 386 FAC was also announced on rukus radio for our performances and help with Bamboo Jamboo. We are continuing to further our relationship with the communities we interact with. We have done beach cleanups, and thrown festivals all with the help of donations from supporting artists. The first Saturday of every month we throw a Props Workshop, encouraging artists to congregate under Granada Bridge in Ormond Beach near the Casements. Ultimately our sole role here in the 386 FAC is to give back to the community, with aims as high as participating with city/county events such as: Fourth of July festivities, Volusia County Fair, and to provide a positive social art forum for people to mesh minds and ideas with all for the sake of positive expression!

Make sure to check our events to stay up to date with all activities and stop by our photo gallery to see all of our amazing shots, performers, and memories that hopefully you will be apart of soon as well =]

If a post is made that is considered to be unlawful or offensive, it will be deleted, and if necessary, the member who posted it as well.
