Ello, and welcome to Jacksonville. :D I've only started hooping 3 months ago and have been looking for other local hoopers. Of course, if you're into fire hooping, we have a group called fahrenheit360 that meets every friday evening in the San Marco gazebo! If you ever get the chance, you should come check it out. :D Counting me, we have about 3 hoopers, but we're never too full of them . <3

Hello!

I am a hooper from Memphis coming down to visit Jacksonville Beach June 19-24, and was wondering if you all had any suggestions on things to do? Also if there would be any hoopy things going on?

My boyfriend and I are considering moving there in the fall and want to get a feel for it before we make a final decision. Neither of us have ever been but have heard nothing but great things from people living or visiting the area. So also if you have any comments or recommendations on living in Jax, I'd love to hear!

I'm looking to move out of Jacksonville ASAP (so I don't personally recommend moving here - there's just so many better places out there) buuuut June has lots of fun things happening! June 22-24 there's a disc golf event at the Spirit of the Suwannee Music Park which is just an hour away from us. It's $50 to participate in the tournament, plus camping for two nights with live music :D I highly suggest it, especially if you've never been to the park before!
