Before I was a hooper I used to go to the gym and do 30mintues cardio - (bike, treadmill) and then do some weights. Now I just hoop dance for an hour to an hour and a half, maybe some sit ups and stretching.... hehe hooping is TOO FUN! I can't go back to my boring workout
I feel the same! I have been a hardcore athlete, but since discovering hooping as well as trying to leave my overexercising eating disordered tendencies behind, I've cut down on the seriuos stuff. Now, though, I just love hooping too much to spend much time doing other forms of exercise! However, I've definitely lost muscle tone. Bah.
