Hi all!

I'm curious -- what, if any, non-hooping exercise do you do? What intensity and for how long, on average.

I like to do weight work, and try to do metabolism-boosting DVDs (especially those by Jillian Michaels or Michelle Dozois -- those ladies kick my butt!).

I'm excited to learn more about how hooping does (or does not) intersect with you exercise regimen.

Before I was a hooper I used to go to the gym and do 30mintues cardio - (bike, treadmill) and then do some weights. Now I just hoop dance for an hour to an hour and a half, maybe some sit ups and stretching.... hehe hooping is TOO FUN! I can't go back to my boring workout
I feel the same! I have been a hardcore athlete, but since discovering hooping as well as trying to leave my overexercising eating disordered tendencies behind, I've cut down on the seriuos stuff. Now, though, I just love hooping too much to spend much time doing other forms of exercise! However, I've definitely lost muscle tone. Bah.

Yoga.
Oh, and aerial and acro.
I sort of know what acro is, but what' aerial? Is it that yoga that you do while suspended in the air?
On aerial silks & trapeze! :D

That looks like it would be an absolute blast!
wow that looks really fun...and challenging!
I do yoga or pilates for about 60-75 min 5 times a week.
