Before I was a hooper I used to go to the gym and do 30mintues cardio - (bike, treadmill) and then do some weights. Now I just hoop dance for an hour to an hour and a half, maybe some sit ups and stretching.... hehe hooping is TOO FUN! I can't go back to my boring workout

I feel the same! I have been a hardcore athlete, but since discovering hooping as well as trying to leave my overexercising eating disordered tendencies behind, I've cut down on the seriuos stuff. Now, though, I just love hooping too much to spend much time doing other forms of exercise! However, I've definitely lost muscle tone. Bah.

I've actually been finding myself bored with hooping lately. It's not enough for me and I don't feel like I get the kind of cardio I need from it, even though it does improve my coordination and grace. I've mastered a lot of tricks and although I know there are more, I can't get the motivation to do them because after a few minutes I end up so frustrated and bored with my hoop. I guess I'm having trouble really loving the process right now...

I sort of know what acro is, but what' aerial? Is it that yoga that you do while suspended in the air?
