Hey welcome!

There is a rich and thriving hoop community in the city and outside of the city. Join Philly Hooper on facebook and you will meet lots of amazing hoopers, hoop instructors and lots of performers, as well as fire hoopers and lots more! When the weather turns warmer, you will see lots of hoopers out and about. You may not see them as much, but they are there!!! I'm about 25 mins west of the city (Loopdihoop.com) and I hold an free outdoor hoop jam from April to Sept and Sarah (Lansdowne Hoopers and Hooing by Sarah) also hold an outdoor free hoop jam during the warmer months as well. I had an indoor jam going on as well for a bit, and hope to start it again soon. While you are always welcome to join in, you will have NO LACK of amazing hoopers in and just outside of the city! So happy to have you as part of the community!

So happy to hear that the hooping community in Philly! BTW I'm from Montreal and 'intermediate' I guess; have been in Philly for 3 months.

I'd def be interested in the indoor jams or any other hooping activities, so will keep in touch!

I just heard about this event this saturday - Collectivus. Let me know if you'll be there, I'd love to meet you :)

AK egan here. I teach perform and sell my AKHoopBliss hoops here in Anchorage, Alaska. I will be in the Philly area in May from the 16th thru the 21st. Im looking for an affordable place to crash for my boyfriend and I. Hoping to find a place near the City Center of the airport with a like minded hooper. We are going to be in town for the Non-Comm concert at WXPN. Im soo excited!
