Hello Hoopers!

I finally got tagged and I've been waiting challenge you with this one for awhile. This challenge is like parkour hooping or obstacle course hooping. The challenge is to hoop outside, walking around the streets, parks and other places around you. Get close to things, climb over a bench while maintaing the hoop, crawl underneath things while hooping, and try to hoop through doorways. Anything goes! Challenge yourself by limiting your space and trying to fit you hoop into a narrow angle.

My suggestions are to either hoop on your way to a friends one day or on a trip to the store. You could go for a walk with your hoop jam and move as a big pack of hoopers. Lastly you could perform this challenge by setting up an obstacle course at a Hoop Jam with benches, boxes, limbo poles, etc. Set up the course and then everyone can try to run through it while maintaining the hoop!

Have fun with this one!

Much love,
SaFire

this is a wicked challenge. Cant wait to see what we all come up with!
Great idea! I think this one will yield extra bruises for me. :)
Grooovey. I needed a new challenge!
Know a good tutorial on walking while hooping? It's something I still haven't been able to get. I have to go really slowly to keep the hoop going. I'd like to know how so I can hoop the Susan G Komen in October.
step forward when the hoop hits your front and your back, not in between, i wish i could explain it better, but that's how I figured it out ^_____^
Thanks. Yeah, I've seen that one. I can move about as fast as she does when she is showing how. As soon as I try to speed up and actually walk at a normal speed, the hoop hits the ground.
you will get it just keep trying. when i first started i would just take one foot at a time: left forward, right meets left, right forward, left meets right kind of deal. i walked kind of like a penguin for a few weeks. but once you get it down, you can do anything!! try closing your eyes, too. it helps to feel where the hoop is hitting your body and just move every time the hoop comes into contact. good luck!!
Thanks. Yeah, penguin is a perfect description of what I look like. At least I'm entertaining the neighbors.
Sounds so fun!!
