December 2011 Challenge: Let's Get Dizzy
Ever wondered how some hoopers seem to be able to keep the tiniest hoops spinning? It works using a technique called sustained spinning.Turning while hooping makes it easier to keep the hoop going, so sustained spinning allows the hooper to use a smaller hoop. The challenge is to do a video of yourself doing sustained spinning. A few words of advice: Start small, 15-30 seconds at a time and work your way up slowly. Be careful, make sure the area around you is clear of obstructions. Most important, don't push yourself if it doesn't feel right. Have fun with it!
