January 2012 Challenge- Picture This
This month's challenge is to create your best hooping photo of yourself. A picture of you that you would be proud to show anyone who asks, "What is hoopdancing?"
I am bad about sending people links to other peoples videos and hooping pictures when they ask instead of my own. Hoopdancing is challenging and takes skill. So let's all be proud of our accomplishments and show them off.
Get in costume, show some attitude and get an awesome action shot. Let's see them.

Challenge completed.
My friend and I did an amazing photo shoot last month, and I just got the pictures a couple weeks ago. She took my first hooping pictures and we ended up keeping almost all the pictures because they were so amazing! I mostly danced until she told me to stop and repeat a move until she got the shot that she wanted. I've uploaded one of them, the rest of the album is on facebook. It was sunset, we had sky, water, forest, and sand so soft and white it looked like snow. It was one of my most awesome experiences being able to hoop there!

Being a photographer, I have been thinking about trying to take some decent pictures of myself, so this is a great challenge! I just wish it was later on in the year, as January in England is bitterly cold and there is hardly any sunlight!
Maybe it will be my personal challenge to find a good indoor location to shoot in :-)
