Thanks for attaching the song; I'm always looking for new music.

I've been hooping to praise and worship music, a couple of electronica/dance CDs from the late 90s duo FaithMassive, and a CD I found at Lifeway called Art Attack Lounge. My player here has one or two FaithMassive tunes on it if you want to check them out.

If you need Christian-friendly tunes, you could try artsits who don't have any lyrics (like lots of Bassnectar).  That way, although it's not overtly Christian or worship, it is dance-y and clean.

 

I also like using kid-friendly tunes, like High School Musical.

Ah I love hooping to the Switchfoot song - Stitches (From Eastern Hymns to Western Shores EP) off their last album. Its such a great hoop song. =)

Wow!  I just listened to "For Those Who Wait" on Fireflight's website, and it left me in tears.  Excellent song, and definitely hoopable.  Thanks for telling us about them. :)

I have a CD called Glory Grooves which is a bunch of dance remixes of contemporary Christian songs. They don't make it anymore, but there are plenty of copies for sale still on Amazon. Also, Plumb's (a Christian artist) greatest hits album "A Beatiful History" has a second CD that is just dance remixes of her songs. It is great. I highly recommend her music in general. I used one of her remixes for my recital:
