Happy birthday! Sounds like a great day. :)  I'm not sure what those moves are you mentioned, but I'd be interested in seeing them if you can point me to a video or two.

hooped at the ocean on my birthday, very fun.  currently working on horizontal elbow pass and vertical arm wrap.  I can't do either one yet but I'm determined.  it's only a matter of time (and practice)

Thanks, Shannon!  It's funny - sometimes I'm so eager to learn a move, but once I get it, I forget to keep doing it.  I keep thinking I need to go back through my practice videos and unearth some of those "forgotten treasure" moves so I can add them back into my flow. But who has time to root through three years of video? ;)

I ended up getting a JBL flip portable speaker.  love it so far.  Hooped at the park yesterday with a new hoop friend and learned a new trick or two.  I'm so happy I don't have to hoop in the snow any more!
