Just want to brag on my "ladies" a bit...

3 of my private lesson students and I entered the local Christmas parade. We had an absolute blast but we didn't coreograph anything really, we just got out there, smiled and struted out stuff. Well guess what, we WON the Marching Division!! LOL my son is in the local high school band (there are 2 high school bands in the parade) and we beat them! He said, "mom, don't take this personally, but I can't believe a bunch of middle aged ladies with hula hoops beath the band!" So you ladies over 40...dont be afraid to get out there and STRUT your STUFF!! Yeah over 40's!!'

This is so awesome. Summer Solstice Parade was great fun for me and a couple friends- actually over 50 hoop dancers!. You beat the band, ha!

Oh when I said "over 40" that's just cause that's the name of the group...I am well over 40....ok I'm in your decade too!!
