don't let weather stop ya, i just recently posted a vid of me hooping for really first time this year out in 20 degree weather and snow lol!!!

Hi there, I'm Riley, I actually got a travel hoop at the end of this summer, but it's been tucked away as I moved around, and I just pulled it out. i'm excited to start learning, and I can't wait until the weather is nicer, and I can hoop outside.

SO so glad I'm not the only newbie on Hoop City! My first hoop should come this week - totes excited. Are any of you other noobs in the midwest? I'd love to have people to learn with!

Sweet you guys thanks for the nice comments, any tips are most welcome since I'm working in a small space.  Sure I'd like to have the freedom to do all kinds of things but right now I have to 'mind the fire sprinkler heads' in the ceiling and not disrupt the neighbors with flying hoops. Making them small to start out of 1/2 inch poly pro has helped some - nothing crashed out the window yet... I think I need to skid them up a bit somehow so they don't keep flinging off when I get to going fast lol.

Hi - I'm doing off body with mini's that I made myself.  I'm new to the site but not 'new' to hooping per se - I did it religiously as a kid - but doing it as an adult is a whole new experience lol. Hoping to get into off body dancing if I can find a place to practice and learn new moves, until then I guess You Tube is going to be my teacher - which is fine I guess.  Anyone have favorite online teachers? Thanks!
