Also, Bax will be present for the HOOPING LIFE premier in Sarasota in April! This is the long-awaited documentary about the early days of the hoop movement, featuring Baxter, Anah "Hoopalicious", Christabel "Hoopgirl" and many more. Here are a few details:
Screenings will be held at Regal Cinemas Hollywood 20 in Downtown Sarasota on April 14 (5 p.m.) and April 15 (8:15 p.m.). An additional screening has just been added and will take place at New College of Florida on Friday, April 16th at 8:30pm in their Palm Court. Hoola Monsters, in conjunction with Bonnie B of Outward Spiral and Cassandra Tannenbaum of Hoops So Fly, will be hosting hoop jams an hour prior to each screening. No formal instruction will take place during these gatherings, but all are welcome to come out and jam with us! Hoops will be available to participants to borrow.
