I don't use Facebook. Has anyone considered Meetup.com As a basis for gathering our hoop shenanigans?

I would like to let everyone know that although it is not yet official, I have managed to get enough signatures and a sponser to support a jccc performance club. we have several hoopers already there and I want to invite anyone who wants to come to add me on facebook- under Rachel Berry (I'm the one with fire spinning in the picture) and I will invite you to our facebook group so you know when things happen. There is now also a performance club at KU also, so if you are interested in either of these or being notified when there are any spinner get-togethers let me know! you can also email me if you like at rachelberry92@gmail.com. I'm hoping to  help get our hooping and spinning community better known and in better contact with each other :) So anyways, just contact me or something if you have any questions, or want to join, or even just want to say something about it :)

Btw you do not have to attend JCCC or KU to join in, Both are hosted outdoors or in public areas so participants are not restricted.

Lets do Heritage park then, so what day works with everyone, I was thinking during the weekend would be best. Maybe a friday or sunday afternoon?

So it's been a while since I've posted here. I would love to do a spin jam next month, I know things are starting to get cold so now is the time to enjoy the weather while we can. So lets pick a place to go. Which park and day of the week would it be easier for us to meet. Heritage in overland park, south park in Lawrence. I'm looking for any suggestions.
