I want to start working on setting up a spin club at jccc. I want to have it inside the gym or basketball court area, so we can have a place to play even if it rains, snows etc. I need at lest 10 signatures before I can bring this up to the student board. I was wondering how many of you got to jccc and would be interested in joining. I'd also need someone (be sides myself) to be the host/leader/co-founder, please keep in mind you would need to be able to come to meetings and help me plan events. You can message me on hoopcity or drop me a email at martikasmysticdesign@gmail.com.

*I currently don't know if Johnson County Community College's clubs are open to public. But I'm working on figuring that out.

Totally would join!  Probably wouldn't be able to be a co-host thing though sadly, because i wouldn't be able to be sure ill always make it. but definitely would love to help out. Btw if we can make this open to public, ill be able to get several more people involved.
Awesome, I'll get the sign up sheet Monday and I'll find out about the public joining.

I would like to let everyone know that although it is not yet official, I have managed to get enough signatures and a sponser to support a jccc performance club. we have several hoopers already there and I want to invite anyone who wants to come to add me on facebook- under Rachel Berry (I'm the one with fire spinning in the picture) and I will invite you to our facebook group so you know when things happen. There is now also a performance club at KU also, so if you are interested in either of these or being notified when there are any spinner get-togethers let me know! you can also email me if you like at rachelberry92@gmail.com. I'm hoping to  help get our hooping and spinning community better known and in better contact with each other :) So anyways, just contact me or something if you have any questions, or want to join, or even just want to say something about it :) Oh and one more thing, it doesn't matter if you go to jccc or not. We meet outside while it is nice and we will find a place to meet indoors if it gets bad out, but I want to make sure anyone can come if they want.

Also, the jccc group page is called "JCCC performance club (unofficial)" at: http://www.facebook.com/groups/386677791354323/

or if you are more inclined toward the Ku version of the club, check out KU Performance Club: http://www.facebook.com/groups/157302027717554/

on both sites we will post if people end up getting together apart from the regular time. Hope to see some people there!
