Comment by Anton Mackman on June 24, 2011 at 11:00am Hi everyone! I'm organising a Brighton hoop gathering for the 4th June - it'd be great to see you there - it's less than an hour down south! Details below and up on www.livelovehoop.com/bff
****************************
Brighton’s first ever Flow Festival is coming to town on Saturday 4th June.
You’ll get the opportunity to take workshops with some of the best hoop teachers in the UK, including Emma Kerr, Gail O’Brien and Steve Bags (more info and vids below). Plus you’ll have time and space to play with other friendly hoopers from the local area.
When? 9-5pm, Saturday 4th June (then off to the beach for a picnic and fire jam after 5pm)
Skill level? All welcome, from beginners to advanced
Cost? Early bird rate = £65 (until 15 April), £70 after. Book online at http://livelovehoop.com/bff/ or email info@livelovehoop.com for bank transfer details.
Only 35 places max - this event will sell out so book now to reserve your place!
Comment by Jazz Hooper Street on March 3, 2011 at 11:05am Hi Kirsten. It really depends on where you're going to be in London as to what groups you'll want to meet up with. There are plenty. Have a look on the London Hula Hoopers Facebook group which has details of upcoming classes and practice sessions: http://www.facebook.com/#!/group.php?gid=13642341659
Personally, I meet with a few intermediate/advanced hoopers every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning in east London and you'd be welcome to join us if there is enough space on the days that you're around. These are not classes at all but just simply a place to practise for a small fee and time to improve and share tips. If you know when and where you will be in London I can probably help point you in the right direction.
Comment by Kirsten Tucker on March 3, 2011 at 9:29am Hi all-
I'll be in London for a few days this month. Any hoop groups regularly meeting up?
