Just a reminder that the Kinetic Fire Midwest Retreat is only two weeks away!! I will be teaching with some awesome hoop teachers like Brecken, Bax, Lynn Spencer-Nelson, Ellie, Jorden... just to name some.  Also the other flow arts teachers are to DIE for... several members of the Vulcan Crew, amazing instructors from outside the US.  Tickets are only $80 and this event is not to be missed.  Check out www.kineticfire.org for more info.  I hope to see a lot of you there!!  Yeah spring!

Kinetic Fire is bringing Brecken, Baxter, and Bonnie to the Mid West!

We are in our first year and are sparing no expense bring awesome instructors from all over the US and a few from abroad.

Hello Michigan Hoopers!  The snow is melting! yes it is!!! lets Celebrate!!! Been thinking about having a HoopindaWoods PARTY!!! We have 3 stages needing a little love, and plenty of property for camping, RV's, Buses, or what have you.  I am thinking the weekend of May 13-15.  Any hooper slash musicians want to jam!?!??!

I should mention the Kinetic Fire is happening May 12-15 at

StoneHouse Park, Earlville, IL right on the border of Michigan.  It is the sister festival to Fire Drums out West.  It should be amazing.  Go to http://www.kineticfire.org for more information.  I will be there for sure and I'm teaching a workshop.  I can't wait for this event!! Hope some of you can make it.

Hello everyone! I'm new here and am hoping to connect with local hoopers in the Detroit area. A weekend of camping and hooping sounds fabulous because I definitely have the winter blues!

I am looking into getting distance hoop training.  I could not find any training near Allegan, MI.  I have a place to start teaching as soon as I am ready.  Looking forward to it.

It would probably be difficult for me to do anything more than a day trip, although the camping sounds fun and I would have my new led hoop by then. :) I guess I had something along the lines of a casual, low-planning required, inexpensive kind of meet at somewhere like a state park in mind. Just wanted to nail a general location first. But wherever everyone decides on I hope to make it if it isn't more than a couple hours away.
