Totally hoop friendly. Pretty much anything goes at this festival grounds.
And just in case you haven't heard yet...we are planning a hoop fest in MN this summer. Prolly late July at Harmony Park in MN. Weeeeeeee!!!!!!
we'll probably only be able to take one big trip up north this summer (we live in Missouri)- I'll def keep the hoop fest in mind though if 3 G's doesn't work out for us.
what do you mean by anything goes? examples? :)
Permalink Reply by Tara on February 22, 2011 at 2:49pm Hey! I just bought my tickets. I've never been, but I figured for $30 and a three hour drive, if it sucks we can always just come home!
It's held at a campground that is normally a 'sexual freedom' campground, but the 3G website says that 'no EXTREME sexual freedoms will be allowed' but you can go topless. I think it said something about skinny dipping in the lake too, but it was somewhat unclear. Jeanna, can you elaborate on that? I really don't want to see anybody get crazy and my husband is new to the festival scene so I don't want to freak him out! If there's naked dudes, I might need to find another person to go with!
The guy who runs the website told me there's usually about 1200 people that go, but since Camp Zoe is shut down their expecting a lot of people from there. It sounds like it'll be pretty chill and it looks like a nice campground. Let me know if you end up going, we can meet up or something!
Yeah it's about a 9 hour drive for us and if we take our RV that tops out around 55 or 60 mph it'll be a lot longer. We like camping in the woods (makes it soooo much nicer :)) i saw that the Schwag was playing at this festi so thought i'd ask around for others opinions on it. I wonder what they define 'EXTREME' to be??? lol
we still haven't decided whether to go or not.... we LOVE Schwagstock but realize all festis won't be like schwag.... I'll definitely keep you posted if we decide to go!
