Heyy guys I just started hooping a month ago at camp bisco and i'm completely addicted... lol I am trying to buy an LED hoop soon and i'm so excited! If any of you are looking for one also i found a sick website that has great quality hoops for fair prices. One hoop called the Warp is the illest LED i've ever seen... it strobes red blue adn greens and lookes like three hoops wen u hoop haha but if u guys use my referral link u can get 2 free extra LEDS on your hoop (and i would really appreciate it because it builds up my credit so I can afford my own soon!) Check it out the link is http://astralhoops.com/r/KellyJean406

Good question, Michele! I can hoop on my knees (although it often starts going too fast and gets out of control), but I can't shimmy it back up. I can go from my legs all the way to my chest, but once I work it down to my knees, there it stays! LOL!

Hey hoopies
I have been hooping for two weeks and I am so addicted! I have a small farm and two babies under and still find time to hoop. I have nailed waist, leg, and chest hooping, the vortex, stir the pot, vertical step throughs and a whole bunch of other things, but I CANT shoulder hoop. I try and try and I've watched every you tube tutorial but can only get it going a couple times. I've hot the back part going, nut my chest is clueless : ( one day I will get it! Any tips appreciated. Nice to meet you all!

for me when it comes to knee hooping i do what my husband calls the "duck walk" , i learned from a great teacher and she recomended alternating with both knees so it is kind of a walk...i start it off on my mid thingh and "pop" me knee up, almnost like i am marching.....it was much easier than twisting my leg around....i hoop to the left so i always start off with my thigh

Yeah, Melissa! I'm so glad you got it. Sometimes accidentally doing something is the best way!

Thanks Dizzy! I got the knee hooping down sort of, needs practice of course, but how do I get it to go back up to my hips?

@Shelley: Thanks! I actually figured it out. I accidently learned the one shoulder hoop trick(since I couldnt chest hoop I was neck hooping and lifting up one shoulder instead of going into it from chest hooping) and after an hour or so of practicing that I accidently chest hooped. I am super happy! Thanks for the advice everyone : D
