Hi Hoopers!
In this lesson we'll learn several different ways to move through the hoop. Jumping, stepping and ducking into the hoop will allow you to mix up your movements, find fun ways to transition from off body to on body hooping and move the hoop in large, fast movements.
Much love,

Permalink Reply by Çaturn on January 11, 2012 at 8:02pm I'm really struggling with the vertical step through. I can do it reallllllllly slowly, but when i bring it up to a steady pace, I can't seem to get my torso and leg through the hoop without getting all tangled- any suggestions?

Permalink Reply by SaFire* on January 13, 2012 at 5:59pm Remember to lead with your head, ducking it into the hoop, your head should pass through the hoop just slightly after your leg. As you lift your leg to first step in, bend over and face your knee. Also give yourself extra space by lifting the legs and having the hoop run under your bent knees.
