My boyfriend just got an offer on a job in Berkeley and we are considering moving sometime in February/March.  I've never been there, but wanted to know what fellow hoopers thought of the bay area. I saw a discussion from last year about several people moving there, but wanted to address the whole group to get as many pros and cons as I could and also to hear from the people who moved recently how they are liking it.  Id love to hear any sort of opinion on the area though... from hoop groups and festivals to work, neighborhoods to live in, and the people itself.
