I don't like that everyone is telling me that I'm suddenly a Virgo, when I have been a Libra my whole life. I alway felt that my yearn for balance in life was suiting to my zodiac. Is anyone else just a little bothered? Even so, I am enthralled by the theory that there is a completely new sector of stars in our sky.

but its a BEAUTIFUL distrubance if u look at it correctly.. stoping the seperation of people by signs and birthdays and creating more of a unified experiance.. well, leading up to creating that experiance ;) the age of aquarius... not by their modern standards the age of pisces is what we'd be coming up to.. get real lol

I'm glad you guys cleared that up. I was pretty curious about it. I've always been into astrology but never really studied it or anything. I don't know why...maybe I've just always been more into psychology personality inventories <3 But I just felt that no way someone sign could change...tis silly. The media totally wanted to create a disturbance, well put :)

The western or Tropical Zodiac did not actually change.  Nothing actually changed.  Originally Ophiochus wasn't even added to the zodiac because the constellation fell above the celestrial equator on which the zodial constellations are.  It was never a part of Ptolemy's astrology.  Read this article if you are interested...  Ths whole thing really made me crazy.  Why would anyone liste to what an astronomer has to say about astrology?  The media!!  They just wanted to create a disturbance...

not necessarily.. its more of a symbol. the serpent bearer. the giver of eternal life, murdered. no one should be born under that sign! haha its weird that comes about now to westerns minds. considering what the planet is going thru, plus its been around for AGES. but think about it, the zodiac is written in stone LITERALLY . our zodiac hasnt changed. ophiuchus has been around, in eastern religion, its not new , and it doesnt apply to our zodiac thats been in stone for ages by people that understood the stars far more then us

yeah id like to take it as something for people to stop being so reliant on there stars tho and unit as a whole :) the stars are important dont get me wrong! but evolution has to occur and you gain a new perspective of the stars
