I am le virgo. and let me just say i love performing! Moon in virgo and sun in virgo! ha such a nut over hereeeee! buttt i'd have to say im overcoming some of my planetary influences. astrology gives you a general idea, a metaphor if you will, and you see where it comes out in your life and where it doesnt. my ascendent is in LEO, which is where I get most of courage from thank you! lol virgos can be insecure so i need some of the lion to keep me balanced.. and I tend to judge myself more than anything. I can help the world, but can't help myself. I can give you the most insight you've ever had, but can't keep any for myself :( but im fighting my stars, and becoming a more balanced virgo. really not pushy or demanding, but do get pushed and people try to dominate me because of my genuine nature, but i always forgive, and always love, so its allll gooood baby!<3

as for hooping, i love being in a group, love performing, love smiling, love moving my whole body with the hoop...ok ok enough of the positive.
negatives- i judge myself. i start watching more then feeling. and i never stop once i get started...well.. thats a good thing for me but bad for others haha

WOW you sound Virgo TO THE MAX!! I used to wish that I was Virgo sun because it seem like all the cool people were! But in reality, I'm really pretty damn Aries. I really couldn't be anything but a fire sign. Love being first, love DOING, love being competitive (i.e. WINNING), and love being the leader. I don't do well under direction unless I respect the person (and I don't think their ideas are stupid!). Unending optimism, energy, curiosity...but also a lot of arrogance, pride, quick to judge (but quick to change my mind), quick to lose steam/interest, tending to think my way is best, all that.

But Aries in sun is the ONLY fire in my chart (except for Sag in both Midheaven and IX house but I don't know anything about the houses), so a lot of that is mitigated by air, water and a heavy dose of Capricorn. As much as I love doing, I like the theory and method BEHIND the action. Man I could probably go on forever! But I loveloveLOVE being Aries. :)

tehehe but i love the fact that aries never take no for an answer and always strive to inspire, alot of the strong female singers were aries, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross who once said "Just because I have my standards they think I'm a bitch" hahah you are crazy ladies, andddd Billie Holiday<3 do you sing? :)

looooooool I AM is very, very much my motto! And what Diana Ross is sooooo true! We are crazy, but that's why you love us right? ;) People have told me that I can be really intimidating (hiLARIOUS since I'm a 5' hapa chick)...never thought of myself as dominating, but I guess I can be kind of an insensitive steamroller sometimes.

And well, I sing, but that doesn't really mean well. XD Mostly in the shower/car where I'm not gonna bother anyone, or with friends!

I think Lady Gaga is an Aries too. LUV. HUH. <3 I am an artist though (er well, art major, but I don't plan on relying on it for income).

How about you? Any Virgoan connections like that?

haha and i sing too... in my bed, the car, the shower, outside, with headphones on...thats about it heheh

my virgo brother, MICHAEL JACKSON. exact same birthday. he is my soulmate, he is not a monster, its all lies, and the govt killed him..i believe so somewhat anyways. but he was just a man without a childhood and grew up realizing he missed out on the best parts of life so he always wanted to be kid.. good for him<3 :)...and we dance just alike haha, and have the same sense of beat/flow ( i find music everywhere, the wind, cars, anything...he used to find beats in the cycles of the washer machine haha)

Ok so I've never gotten too into astrology, but Amara, the site you posted seems suuuuper legit and awesome. I just entered my stats, and it's creepy how accurate it is. I've always been into psychology inventories, and I noticed there is a section where they combine psychology and astrology, SQUEE! Sounds aweeesooome.

So here goes.
I am a Taurus, with Sun in Taurus and Moon in virgo :)

How does being a Taurus affect my hooping? Well I'm quite grounded, being that I'm an earth sign, so when I make my mind up about pursuing something, I do it to perfection. Once I start, I can't stop. I think that comes from the fact that I can be stubborn, the whole making up my mind and you can't change it sort of thing. I also research the SHIT outta stuff. From drugs (ha!) to hooping. I'm also thrifty in the sense that I'm good with my money. I know when to save, and how to spend. I've noticed this since I was young, when my dad gave me allowance. I always saved!!

Performing wise...I'm not too into it. I'd rather hoop in the crowd ;)
But don't get me wrong, I'm not shy about hooping in public, but I'd most certainly would like to do it in a group if I could! How else does Taurus influence me? Well...I'm not keen on lending my items out, so I already know i'd get uncomfortable sharing my hoop. Not that I don't like sharing! I just get paranoid that my stuff will be ruined.

As for personality wise, it's right on. I'm definitely grounded, patient, kind, and friendly. It also says i'm slow...hah! So true, I like to work at a good pace you could say. I go with the flow....I can be too friendly, though. I tend to let people walk over me, and I'm one that can be taken advantage of :( I have trouble being assertive, and I think that's why I rather blend in sometimes than stand out. I think people listen to me because i'm very open minded and non judgemental. I'm super upbeat and friendly, to the point where people have asked me how i'm so cheery. I guess you could say I love life and I want to do the very best to enjoy it.

Wow that's a lot of Taurus in your inner planets! You must be soooo relaxing to be around. :) Every Taurus I've met has been really, really sweet. And I'm jealous of your thriftiness! I'm terrible with money.

Don't let anyone take advantage of you! Use that Taurean stubbornness to just say no. :p You aren't into food by any chance are you? I'm just wondering because every time I read a Taurus horoscope it's always like "you're very sensual and love food!" and I've yet to meet a Taurus who really gives a shit about food...

you know it's funny, because people have said I chill them out. That's how my boyfriend fell in love with me, haha he said I calmed him and made him feel at ease. I think it's cos I accept people as they are. Which also goes with me enneagram type 9.

as for food.....OMG FOOOOOOOOODDDD!!!! Haha i'm very much a taurus in that sense. food...how I love thee. I don't know if it comes from being a taurus or being mexican, but we love our food. I don't know...I've never been on the thin side, haha. I'm not big or anything, but I'm definitely no size zero ;)
I do notice that weed kinda promotes my foodie side, as soon as I stop smoking I can go hooourrsss without food. But chyeah, it's great. Haha

Lol the food thing!
Every best friend I've ever had has been a Taurus (Such a WEIRD coincidence, but totally affirms the laws of astrology just a little more) and they're obsessed with food. They're always wanting to grab a bite to eat or snag a candy bar or snack. They've all been super good cooks too, especially the guys.

I'm not so sure I would agree with the "chill" aspect though. Every Taurus I've met has been somewhat of a bully, ready to party, kind of loud and sassy.

ahhaa that is so true. I'm always "done" eating but if I see my b/f is still working on his plate I always snag a bite. Free samples? Count me in. BBQ, where is the invite? As for cooking...I stink at cooking!!! Hah! That is where my patience ends. I can't stand being in the kitchen for some reason...I think I just get frustrated since I never properly learned to cook. Luckily I have a boyfriend who makes BOMB food (he's a libra).

Hmmm, I am quite chill but I can have my explosive side. I was a bit of a bully during my grade school years, but I think it was due to being insecure, ha, I admit it!!! I'm sorry!! Haha, i've definitely become a much nicer person as i've matured. As for sassy?? Haha far from it for me. I wish I had sass!!

Haha that's adorable - the eating thing. I think I notice the cooking trend more in male Taurus. It's so funny how sex plays into big differences in each sign. All of my male Taurus buddies make KILLER meals. The females seem to hang around and reap the benefits of their cooking.
