Of the few of us in this group, who has bought or made their own hoops, and what have you used, where have you got it?

Newsletter from Roundly Hoops

After taking a break from markets and hooping in general, I’m back with all feet in. I have been working out new moves and getting fit in front of the TV, since its too cold to hoop outside.

If you are one of those people who have been asking for a hula hoop class, here it is your chance. Starting on 5 July 2011, the classes will be an hour long (from 17h00 till 18h00) and will be running for 8 weeks until 30 August. Following on from that, I’ll start another 8 week beginner class and a separate intermediate hoop class for those who want to learn more difficult tricks. The classes will take place in Bergvliet at the dance studio above the Kwikspar on main road,

I know that the winter holidays are just around the corner and so I have decided to do something for the kids. I will be hosting a fun hula hoop dance class and workshop, which includes a “make your own hoop” session. Please book your child a place ASAP as spaces are filling up fast. See the flyer below or visit our website.

This year’s world hoop day falls on 11/11/11. It is on a Friday and I’m still looking for ideas for what to organise. If you can offer any ideas or assistance for this event please contact me.

Lastly, I am out of hoop stock at the moment but I will have lots of gorgeous hoops by the 25th June. Place your orders in the meantime (by e-mail, sms or phone call) and I’ll have them ready for you.

Keep warm this winter and hoop it up!

Regards,

Maddy

Hello hoopers, it's been quiet here for a while.  I've not hooped for months, but am back and feeling inspired.  I'd like to take my hoop to Afrika Burn, anyone else going?

No problem. It's good to know I won't be the only crazy hooper in the country next time I come back :)
