Oklahoma Hoopers...
There are NO hooping groups or (apparently) any other hoopers in OKC, but I figured I'd throw out one good public place for hooping in that city, and it's over at the Myriad Gardens. It's the site of the annual OKC Arts Festival, and you can see the website for the indoor conservatory gardens here (the following is a map of the outdoor grounds):

You do have to pay admission to go inside for the Crystal Gardens Conservatory ($6 for adults), but you don't have to if you're just staying outside. It's not far from Bricktown either.

Hi Space Girl - Thanks! I'm up here in Tulsa, and there is a great park system here, especially Mohawk Park or down at th River to hoop. Not yet brave enough to go hoop in public! LOL!
Thought I'd post here and hope we get some more local hoopers!

i'm a hooper in okc!!!! i thought i was the only one, but discovered that couldn't be last sunday when i discovered a homemade hoop at my church of all places!

I'm in Tulsa and I'm having trouble finding an established hoop group here. I've contacted the Hub and River Rat bikes and just waiting to hear back from them. Does anyone have any additional leads I could follow up on?

For OKC area folks, these ladies offer hoop classes on Saturdays. NOTE: I have NOT taken classes with them, but I'm putting this here in case others are interested. The class description reads like it's definitely a beginners class. They also sell hoops.

(And yes, as the name of the URL suggests, they offer pole dancing, burlesque, and other types of classes too. Like I said, I don't know much about them, but they are the only folks in OKC offering any type of hoop classes, so it could be a good way to meet fellow hoopers!)
