i am for sure down for this. maybe we can do something related to the energy of this august moon, because this months moon represents many things: the harvest (ie corn and fruit moon), womens moon (native american/choctaw tradition), and this moon is great for recognizing physical and spiritual health. so... since this moon is geared towards women and health what better group to help raise energy than us hoopers!! i look forward to any ideas. maybe we can give each other positive energy for health, spiritual awareness, and for strength to be powerful, independent, and beautiful women. kind of sounds cheesy but we all should take advantage of the feminine energy that the hoop provides.

I love this idea... i'm wondering, and as always, everything is voluntary.... it might be a good excuse to give to say a women's shelter or something like that. Not only raise energy, but perhaps raise some funds? IDK, just the first thing that popped in my head. I know it's kinda late in the game to get anything big going.... maybe even clean out our closets and give any good but unwanted clothing to a shelter or something..... Any thoughts? Anyone?

i was actually already getting a bag of "donation goods" together to take to the thrift store the next timei went. ill just wait until the 24th and give it as an offering. as far as "funds" go, im kind of totally broke so the best i can do is donate. but i like the idea. hopefully some other people will make some suggestions, too.

How funny, I was sorting my and kiddies wardrobes and have lots of clothes to give away to charity. Can't wait to spin to moon light :)

dont know what everyone is doing tomorrow, but i will be spinnin' under the full moon about 8pm AKST. i will be keeping all of you in my thoughts as i twirl under the full moon (if i can see the darn thing... doesnt get dark til about 12).

Same here! jacki and I will be spinnning around same time! Can't wait! Also will be making rose water and moon water. yay!
