I went like 5 months without knowing anyone in my area and hooping alone, then I went to a couple local shows and met a few hoopers and just started chatting w them. And don't keep your hooping a secret, I just found out a friend of mine that I work w/ has hooped for like a year and neither of us knew it! Also I've been talking up hooping to my sorority sisters and at 1st they all laughed but TODAY FOR THE 1ST time 4 girls came over to hoop with me!!!!!!!!!!!!!! big breakthrough so i'm stoked :) But the nice weather isn't staying and I'm trying to find a space on campus for once a week. Also check with local YMCA type places for space. And I made a whole bunch of hoops so that they could come try it out, they all loved it and want to keep hooping! yayyyy

Do you all plan on supplying the hoops for the class? I know the poi classes I attended, all the materials were supplied...

I buy hoops from hoopnotica (love the travel hoop!) and also make hoops at home - its really easy to do.

Where does everyone buy their hoops? I've only had my hoop a few weeks and I already bent it.
