Karen, DFW has a relatively large hooping community due to an organization called Circus Freaks. They hold several events every week where hoopers can be found. Open Stage Monday, Circue Out Tuesday, Clown Gym Thursday and Spin Fest on the third Saturday of every month. www.circusfreaks.org

I am also a member of Amber Does Dallas Shadow Cast in Dallas so if you ever come to a show I will be happy to share anything I know. You can even bring a hoop and spin at the theater before the show if you want. We usually have free dance time and several of the cast members are baby hoopers.

Dallas Hoopers! My friend Greg Vaughan (San Diego, CA) is looking for hoopers to be apart of his band's performance in a big outdoor arena, this is what he wrote me: "Could you give me some guidance or suggestions on how to find some hoopers in Dallas who might be interested in performing with, and potentially hosting, Murmur for our big show on Sat June 30th.
