Hi there

 

Welcome to the island!

There is a perfomance group called Vestafire in Nanaimo that gets together for spin jams and classes in all sorts of flow arts,  http://web.vestafireentertainment.ca/, Karina Strong is the main organizer for this group.

We also have a strong hoop community up here in the Comox Valley, only an hour and a half away.

I am new to the Comox Valley and would love to join the hooping community here but I am having a hard time finding anything. Can you help me out? How do I get in touch with the Comox Valley hooping Community?

Been meaning to reply to your message. I am happy that my fellow Comox Valley Hooper and friend Tracey sent a message! Tracey is one of the main promoters and teachers of hooping in the valley and I know that between us and the others here we will have some hoop fun this summer. I have been thinking about having weekly hoop jams outside, I will let you know! Hope to hoop with you soon!

I am new to the Island AND new to hooping! .... But stoked on both!!!!

Would love to find some people to join up with to help me with my skills and share good hooping energy. i am up for anything really, but I dont know where to start to conneect with people!

Yay more hoopers! A couple of us hoopers from Nova Firespun Arts and Island Hula Hoopla  in the Comox Valley and some of ladies from Vesta Fire in Nanaimo participated in the Mad Skillz Juggle, Spin , Flow festival this past weekend in Vancouver. Feeling pretty pumped and ready for some serous play time!
