Hi, everyone!  I'm very new to this whole hooping thing.  I have been trying to find some classes/instructors in the Virginia Beach area, and I'm having such a hard time!!!  Does anyone know of anything like this?  Thanks so much!!

Hey fellow hoop sisters! I live in Virginia Beach and am always looking for hoop buddies. I'm a very visual learner so I love playing off different vibes, which makes for awesome freestyle (I'd love to trade tricks!!) I jam to all sorts of tunes and have multiple sized hoops for any mood you find your flow in. There are tons of places around so location is never an issue, especially with spring almost here &summer right around the corner. If you're interested, message me &we'll make some plans. Hellooooo!  Any hoopers here from the Charlottesville/Staunton/Harrisonburg area?  My friend and I have been hooping together since last summer and with warmer weather upon us we'd love to connect with some other hoopers in our area, maybe meet up for jams at a park or something.  We live in Staunton, but we haven't really encountered any sort of hooping community here and it seems all the C'ville hoopers have moved to Richmond!
Anyway, if you live nearby (or know someone that does) and want to get together and hoop-de-loop sometime, message me on here :)

Liv, I'm in Greenville. Most of the hoopers meet in Richmond or Charlottesville. You may find something more local around the Tech campus or in Harrisonburg at JMU. I hear there's also a fire troupe out of Staunton. I've been here for more than 3 years and don't meet to hoop with anyone. I only perform locally. Good luck finding a tribe closeby. Definitely going. My fiance wants me to find someone to carpool with me. If someone in/near NoVA needs a ride I've got space for one person. Mayyyyybe two if we don't pack too heavily. Or if someone in Richmond wants a ride I could meet them/pick them up on the way since I'll be headed down 95.
