Heya fellow hoopers!
I want your feedback pretty please. Give me the good, the bad and the ugly. Am I captivating? If so, what got/kept your attention? What and where did you lose interest? Do I spend too much time in the vertical or horizontal plane? Not enough? Which tricks did you like to see? Which ones were not so pretty or entertaining? Are my hands distracting? What would you suggest I do differently with them? etc. etc. etc. Anything you have to say is much appreciated. I will return the favor :)
I can't get the video to embed so the link is above. If you all have suggestions let me know and I will embed the video
You seem really comfortable doing the tricks you do :) your isolations and overall knowledge of tricks is really awsome! I love seeing vids that have multiple tricks to spice it up and keep interest! What else is up their sleeve i wonder haha.
It seems like towards the end of the vid you really got into the excitement of hooping, but with that it seems you sped up your speed and it made you rush the tricks and stumbled up the flow of things. Maybe if you try not to rush things so fast it will seem more comfortable. Have you tried slower hooping to slow music?
Also try extending your leg movements, maybe keep your toes, ankles and knees straight untill you need to bend them and exagerate the bend like a ballerina?? to me it seems like your legs where not as connected with your upper body.
This is my first feedback post and i hope it makes sense and helps with your hoop journey!
The leg movements will definitely help you be more graceful ^ You definitely know your tricks and some good transitions you just need to clean them up. Try slowing down and being less forceful with the hoop.... it will go into the moves if you just let kinda let it flow around you. You want it to look light and effortless so dance lightly
