I know it's been a long time since anyone's heard from me but not to worry I'm still hooping up a storm! And was curious to know if anyone would be willing to get together for a hoopjam here in Charleston, WV. We could meet at any of a number of local parks or places like Magic Island, Transit Mall, State Capitol, etc. unfortunately I have no means of transportation other than the bus so that's why I'm requesting it be here in Charleston so my apologies in that regards. Anyway let me know if you're interested in getting together & truly looking forward to talking with you;) Many blessings for a wonderful evening!

Thanks for joining & great to see you here & other hoopers in Charleston! Believe it or not I actually saw you at the festival this past weekend but it was late by the time we got there & didn't have an opportunity to even talk to you. That whole day was very off for us. Our ride fell through, no one else really was available we ended up walking from east end of Charleston to Connell Road before someone gave us a lift. By the time everything was over with it started to rain before we could walk out of there so we ended up camping out in the pouring rain with no real protection but we did have the luxury of the fire going all night long :) & luckily I was smart enough to have extra change of clothes & a shower nearby. It was some seriously crazy shit man I knew something wasn't right nothing had panned out the way we had expected it. I was invited there by Marc Roney from the Alderwood Event Fairgrounds & the picture he used as his profile was not the same as what he actually looked like. I thought he already jetted by the time we got there. Come to find out later after I get home the next day after walking back home the mass majority of the way (lol determination:)) that he'd changed his profile pic so I did actually see that dude he had the bat wings on the nape of his neck but I didn't know that was him.  That whole day the energy just wasn't right so we ended up just going off in the woods doing our own thing but knowing something wasn't right we didn't get much footage & naturally our battery was dying so like I said we were trying to walk home but the rain came it was more like torrential downpour so we ended up deciding be wiser to be near a fire than chance walking 14 miles home with no type of protection so naturally come to find out the next day when I get back to where there's service on the phone my dad was put in the hospital & today he had surgery & supposed to get another one later this week so as of right now we're planning on attending the UUC Drum Circle unless something else happens with him.

 

I had never heard of that Folded Leaf as I'm usually on the east end or downtown & pretty much walk everywhere I go so at least now after my walk I now know where you are located! lol I would love to come to one of your hoop gatherings & btw, I did check out your page on facebook & even commented..lol my name is Leslie btw;) Nice to meet you & I really hope that when we do actually get to meet in person it will be under better conditions than the last attempt..lol I saw where Marc had also commented on your page so didn't know if you got to see him there or not but I had every intention of meeting you Saturday & Hope Sunday will provide us a better opportunity;) Looking forward to getting together & rockin the hoops! Hi!  I see you are from Charleston WV, so am I!  I have a group of hoopers that meet once a month or so for get togethers.  Our next event is at Magic Island on Sunday, May 15 at 5:30.  There is a large group of drummers from UUC that hold a drum circle there, and it's actually their event, but the welcome anyone to come and join, so we are!  I also have a fb page, charleston hoop group.  I hope you check out my page, and come join us at the drum circle!
