Don't get the jute one from Barefoot Yoga. I had it for almost a year and it started to leave little bits of mat behind where ever I went. It was slightly embarressing and I felt bad so I cleaned it up every time. I have heard good things about a ton. For my next mat I would probably buy one from Jade; good company, good values, good quality product.
I love my Manduka mat - natural rubber, thin yet bouncy. I had a cheapo mat for 12 years, and now I know. I wish I had this one years ago. Looking forward to a long and happy yoga life with my manduka mat. Travel thinness is fine by me, but they sell thicker ones too.
Hey! I honestly got mine at walmart for 20 dollars. They all work the same..but about a month and a half ago i got into yoga pretty hard, so it's taking a toll on the mat, but it's holding up well. I guess every year or so a new mat is necessary! much love, happy hooping and happy yoga sesh's!
