Student Teacher Testimonial

"This past week, I thought I'd challenge my drop-in class with the vertical step through. What I discovered is that it's really helpful to learn isolations first as the movement of turning your arm to "stop" the hoop as you step into it is the same motion of going from hand hooping to an isolation. Bingo! Several of my students had that ah-ha moment after we stopped and practiced going into an isolation.

I never would have thought that those two moves were related, without really analyzing what I'm doing with my body and what the hoop is doing. That's what going through SaFire's teacher training has really taught me. How to connect the dots, how to analyze, and get those break through moments consistently both for my students and my own hooping!
