3D Hooping Workshop w/ Safire





In this 4 hour workshop you'll be introduced to the concept of 3D hooping and explore a series of moves that fit into this category of hoop dance. Flipping the hoop on it's axis and capturing space using four different techniques include hinges, palm spins, contact flips and arm wraps. The video above has a sample of some of the moves we'll be covering.

Hi Traci,

I'm actually thinking of doing an online 3D hooping class but that won't be for awhile. I have to practice teaching the moves first before I'll be ready to put things down on video.

Hi, SaFire.  Any chance you'll be offering a video version of the workshop for those who can't make it to Toronto for the live version?

LOVE that wrap that starts at the 1:57 mark, by the way.  I definitely want to learn that move. :)

Hi SaFire!!  I am so excited to be going to your workshop.  If there is a recommendation for a particular size hoop (or a range) to bring that would be great so I can get comfortable with it before getting there.
