dreadies. ummmm... i just use embroidery thread in my locks. really any thread works well. I suppose you could take it out, but I'm just letting it grow in. I'm not too worried about removing it. if you start getting mega loops, you can even sew your hair back together, kinda weird, but you know...whatever works.
