Dani Mouser, the wonderful woman who took this picture, and I went to high school together, and later worked together at a care home for Dementia patients. In the years after that she has worked and gone to school and discovered that she has a wonderful gift for capturing a moment, and for diffusing her subjects picture jitters. I'd never had professional pictures taken before, and Dani made me feel like it was as natural as a fish in water.
