Thank you! I actually just kind of had an idea and went with it. I had to hand stitch the pockets but once I get a sewing machine for Christmas I'll probably try and make some real ones and maybe to sell or something. It was all left over fabric and ribbon, and I found some velcro in my sewing box to keep the pockets closed. I would love to see your skirt! I cannot wait to start making real clothing pieces :)

i love it! this is really well made! did you just free-hand this? or did you have some sort of pattern?
i also dabble with garment-making...i have yet to make anything that's actually wearable (it usually ends up not turning out the way i had planned)...it's a lot harder than it seems!
i'm working on one now though, if it turns out the way i want it to it'll be a pixie-ish billowed short skirt. i'll post pics if i find it decent enough lol :)
