When did you first start hooping? July/August 2008

Would you call yourself a beginner, intermediate or advanced hooper? Intermediate...ish

How often do you hoop? I used to hoop for about an hour a day.... I wonder what happened to that. now it's more like once a week... sadly.

Do you have an indoor hoop space? kindof... My garage has adequate space... but its hotter in there than outside.

Is there a hoop group where you live? Not that I know of. There's a few people I know of.

Did you start it? No.

Would you say that you are obsessed with or addicted to hooping? If I had someone to enjoy it with, I think I would do it more often.

Have you posted hooping videos? How many? Not yet. :S

Do you have friends nearby to hoop with? No. My one friend ran away to Texas... and I'm just getting my boyfriend's sister into it... hopefully we can hoop more often.

Do you teach hooping? I taught my 5-yr old, and 9 yr-old nieces some tricks, and made them some hoops... but no not really.

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? Anything upbeat, really.

What is your favorite song right now? very hard to say really.

Do you buy hoops or make your own? I've made all of mine, and a few for some other people. Was considering selling a few to buy an LED.... I don't feel like bothering with that mess, haha.

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? Absolutely! but I put some back on when I stopped...

What size is your favorite hoop? about as tall as my waist.

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? Hmm not really. When it gets cooler I think I'll try going to some parks and get used to it that way...

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? My friend, Keeley. And YouTube.

Who is your favorite hoop teacher? Haven't really had any.

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? Don't give up!

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? No, I haven't. I want to so bad. :3

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? lifting off the body.

What is the last trick you mastered? Yikes.... I'm so out of practice that I can't remember..

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? Very few, that I'm aware of. I can't seem to find anyone!

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? Other then a few friends, no, haha.

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? Yes, haters!

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? Smacked myself in the head once or twice.

Have you ever hooped naked? .... I should try that.
