is it bad to learn hoop and mini's at the same time

i am going to my first class for minis today .I havent done either of them before but im buying the mini's, the off body, and the body hoop. Is it bad to try to learn alittle of both at the same time?

im soo excited are there any tips any one can give me or pointers iv never picked up a hoop before in my life im both nervious and excited AHHH i cant wait :)

Not at all bad. I learned off the body twin hooping at the same time that I was learning on the body hooping with one hoop.

There is BlackWater next month, and Bear Creek In november. Here in Gainesville we have free Hoop University this thursday, and on August 13th we will have a massive hoop off in the downtown Plaza

I made a set of twin minis after being inspired by a couple of vids... I'm not too good at it yet but when my hands are so bruised from practicing the three beat weave with my bigger hoops or I'm too overheated from hooping in my apartment…

Yeah, it helps to feel the hoop, even if it hurts.

ya i started to do that alittle bit at the end of the class but i almost knocked a few ppl out with my flying hoops lol i tryed a pair of gloves at class but i felt like i didnt have controle of my hoop
