We went on vacation all of last week to this resort in Canada.  Last year I forgot my LED hoop and was really sad, so this year I made sure I packed it.  I was so excited to be able to hoop right on the beach.  I took it out one night early in the week and started hooping.  And every bug in Canada joined me.  I could feel them bouncing off my hand and buzzing around my face.  It was gross.  So a minute after starting, I turned the hoop off and went back inside the cabin.  I had not thought…  

I went outside with my hoop tonight thinking I was going to hoop for maybe 15 minutes like I have been doing the past few weeks.  I haven't been able to get back into "summer hooping" yet - the heat has been too much, or I'm just worn out after a few songs.  But tonight something made me keep going.  I didn't realize the first half hour had gone by, and then I decided to keep going.  All fast songs and lots of moving around.  It felt awesome.  Over an hour later and I feel so much better.  My…  

Today was nice enough to go outside and hoop for 40 minutes before I was too tired to keep going.  I had so much fun.  I felt like the hoop was moving exactly how I wanted it to, a few new moves worked perfectly, and I was having such a good time with the music.  Since it was going so well, I decided to film a little of my hooping.  And everything I had just disappeared.  I watched the video, and I looked stilted.  It looked like where I was at the beginning of last year, like all the work…

 

Last night was the second performance of Seussical at our school.  I loaned a set of minis and a regular hoop to the musical for the circus scene, and right before bows all the hoops were laying out on the ground.  I grabbed one of the minis and started playing with it, trying to work on isolations.  I didn't think I had it, but all of the sudden the other 7 people out in the hall with me went "That is so cool!"  Everyone was asking me how I did that.  I was so excited that I finally got an…  

Yesterday I heard from my top choice college and I got accepted!  I'm so excited right now.  This school has nearly everything I wanted in a school, and since its a state school it's cheaper so my parents will let me study abroad for 2 semesters instead of 1.  I got a scholarship too, so I'm super happy!  And this means that my college application essay on hooping totally worked!
