Do you teach hooping? If so, how many people have you taught? Yes I teach on conventions and sometimes in a bellydancing studio

What kind of songs do you listen to while hooping? Spanish music by Rosario Flores, which is also very inspiring to me / dubstep

Do you buy hoops or make your own? I am not very skilled in making anything on my own ;) thats why I am buying them... but we have our own onlineshop so I can get them there ;)

Have you lost weight since starting to hoop? no

Are you comfortable hooping by yourself in a public place? not always - but with the firehoop on stage I feel very comfortable...

How did you learn the majority of the tricks you know today? Internet, conventions and trying around by myself

Who is your favorite hoop teacher? Safire, Marianna de Sanctis, angie Mack, Gail O'Brien, Lisa Lottie, Charlie Ledger

What advice would you give to to beginner hoopers? Enjoy it! Try always to freestyle as much as you can to get into the flow... and chose the right music. I also learnt that it is very nice to experiment with the timing, slow moves and very fast moves and with the different levels, floor etc.

Do you fire hoop? If not, do you want to? Yes, I only started hooping because I wanted to firehoop...

How much time do you spend on Hoop City Hooping Community? Some hours a week

What was the first trick you learned (besides waist hooping)? The shimmy up with arms

What is the last trick you mastered? maintaining 4 hoops (knees, waist, chest, arms) and juggling 3 hoops

What trick so far was the hardest for you to learn? maintaining 4 hoops and juggling 3 hoops ;)

Which one are you finding is almost impossible to get? 5, 6, 7 Hoops! Nice isolations

How many hoopers would you say live in your town/city? Maybe 3,4

Have you performed hooping in front of an audience? yes with the firehoop during our fireshows and led hoops

Has anyone told you you were too old to be playing with a hula hoop? no

What’s the worst injury you’ve acquired from the hoop? still no bad injuries... only bruises

Have you ever hooped naked? yes... very funny!

Have you been to a hoop camp/retreat? Which one? German Hoopcon 2010, 2011, 2012 and European Juggling Convention in Sheffield England 2012. and then to many fire, juggling and acrobatic conventions... there are not many possibilities here unfortunately... would love to have all those classes and retreats that you have in USA
