Saw your knee hooping post. Have you tried using a big 1/2 inch 125 psi hoop? They are a lot easier on the shins and warp around your knees making it easier to do than with a with a heavier hoop. I would suggest using one that's about 37 inches. Good luck!

Hi Ann - How are things?

I was wondering...no worries! We'll get there, right? :)

Retirement will bring us to Helena in the fall. Summer will be busy as we spiff up the house getting it ready to sell before we come down. Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would have a belly dance buddy, too. Amazing. I had three solid months of hoop experience last year before it got too cold outside. Coming indoors severely limited my progress. Then I discovered belly dance. Hooping came to a screeching halt until earlier this month when I took a three week hoop course. It cleaned up some things that were a little sloppy, but most of all got me to experiment with movement. I was a 'stuck in one place' hooper before that class. I will be more than happy to share what I know, that is, if you don't already know it before I get there.
