No, I don't have cancer. I had anorexia (have it? I'm in recovery but it never fully goes away) and disordered eating. I just wanted to see the film out of interest, and because cancer is so prevalent. It's seems hard to imagine either myself or someone I love getting it, unfortunately.

I'm glad your blogging helps deal -- mine did/does the same for me during my healing. It's a pretty fantastic means of communication and honesty and getting real with myself.

Well, you look like the woman in the film. Also, I was perusing your blog and saw the same "Fuck Cancer!" slogam that the woman in the film. Plus, both seem like you rock! :) I kind of figured I was wrong, though, because you mentioned that you have 2 sons on the blog, and the woman in the film discussed how she just lives with her dog. Thought I'd ask -- I really like the movie. I'd like to look at the book, too.
