- Hi Bethany! I'm so glad to have found someone nearby who hoops and teaches classes! I'm from Altoona, and I just started hooping this summer. Although I'm from Altoona, I drive up to State College 3 days a week for classes this semester. I also saw that you are teaching classes on Pugh Street. And it says drop-ins welcome...so would it be okay to just show up sometime? What days and times do you meet?
