I..am...so..proud.

I've been hooping since Sept. 10th and I felt confident enough to order my first polypro 10 minutes ago. I can shoulder hoop, my vortex is where I want it to be (it could be better), and I can now do iso's that I wasn't sure I could accomplish. I love doing the rising sun, and I am having fun spinning and traveling with the hoop a lot.

I just started chest hooping. It's a slow process, like everyone says. I'm just really excited and really proud and very happy. I can't wait to get my…

Totally didn't cross my mind

That on the 10th, it was my 1 month hooping anniversary!

And guess what! I can do the vortex while spinning!

*Happy dance*

That was on my bucket list LMAO.I still can't do it while standing still, but hey, better than not at all! Now I can hoop around my shoulders for up to 6-7 rotations, maybe 10 before it goes crazy. I am going to buy a polypro for my birthday (Nov. 12th) so I can practice Iso's more. I know I don't need it, but I'm getting SO much better with what…

Reached A Goal in 10 Minutes

Posted on September 30, 2012 at 9:26pm 2 Comments

So frickin happy with myself today!

I got down knee hooping in 10 minutes! I was smiling like crazy.

My vortex is still crappy though. It's going to take me forever to get it because for some odd reason, after one whole spin, I get dizzy as hell. That can't possibly be normal. One - two quick spins?! I know spinning helps slow down the hoop and is suppose to keep momentum, although that sounds like a contradiction, I had to take the longest break in between hooping. Well that's a…

I'm new!

Hi! I'm Britany. I'm 24 and I live in Maryland. I've been hooping since Sept 10th. I've gotten down the corkscrew and the rising sun and the weave (just the regular figure 8). I'm struggling with the vortex.

I've made 3 hoops!

I have a beautiful beginner hoop named Iron Man :) or Tony..

My goals are to learn the vortex before Xmas (lol), to learn the helicopter, aaaaand to learn how to do an isolation. I don't think it's possible with this huge 39" hoop. I…

Congrats! It's almost your one month anniversary! :)

Oh no dizziness! I do get dizzy when I hoop super hard, but I think in time your body will get used to it and I know when I spin I end up all over the place, I think focusing on your footing and unlike me try spinning in one place and that may help with the balance! Give it time I'm sure it's just an adjustment.
