1. My friend let me borrow his webcam for a couple hours so I could get some footage of my first LED!  I have pretty much given up on the video aspect of hooping because it stresses me out so much.  I like seeing what my hooping looks like from different angles but other than that I prefer mirrors…

I love my new LED but got it several inches smaller than my day hoop.  I can do most things with it but I'm really having to re-learn vertical chest hooping with the 33 inch hoop.  | just can't get it to stay in the plane I want for more than a few rotations.  You really gotta work it with a small hoop!  I'm not a tiny girl so I think it's even more of a challenge.  But I'm not complaining, I really really love it.  Better to challenge oneself than buy an LED that you grow out of, right? 

A HUGE thank you to Deana Pew from Hoopcity - my first LED arrived today!  AHHHMEHGERD!  It's even better than my wildest dreams.  I absolutely love it.  She gave me such a great deal and it's basically brand new (polypro Sunrise) and I freaking love the way it EVERYTHING.  You know?!  Even in the daytime?!  I like it more than my empty polypro, I like it more than my fire hoop, I like it more than my husband.

I've been feeling dumpy lately.  There is something I don't want to discuss explicitly on hoop city, but I wish I could, because I feel so lost.  Surely someone out there has been where I am and has some advice.  Ever find yourself wanting to do something with most of your heart, but one part of you won't let yourself grow?
