Body Peace & the Hoop

As this week is focused healthy body images and finding body peace I figured I would share a bit of my own journey. I was diagnosed with Anorexia in 2005. My parents, teachers, and friends all were shocked that "this could happen to ME", the happy-go-lucky free-spirited hippie chick. At 15 I was two weeks away from heart failure after six months of outpatient treatment. I showed no improvement despite my hardwork.
