Cathy Fairbanks's Profile

I'm very interesting in integrating non-hoop moves and rhythms into hooping. I think poi, contact juggling, hip hop dance and club juggling moves have the potential to translate over into hoopdance and I'm excited about what the future of hooping has to hold.

Right now I'm working towards making my own hoops, establishing my rhythm and flow and rockin' some poi moves with my new minis.

I'm also currently coordinating the spin jams in Seattle - come on down to Cal Anderson park on Saturdays, 2- 5ish! Meet spinners of all types and skill levels!

Kris's husband is a professor in law school at TTU. I have always thought there was a lot of room for hooping on campus - a lot of students who could benefit from it.
