Starting up my hoop classes again ^_^

I'm so happy. I was in a bad situation for a bit but things are looking up again and I'm finally able to start taking hoop classes again. I just don't have the internet anymore so I don't get to visit this forum or any for that matter that often. See More

No internet , just money problems.

Hello hoopers, It's glad to have the opportunity to come back to this site to see how things are going. I've haven't been able to log on to a computer for some time now. I'm having problems finding a stable place to live and have been staying in different areas back and forth for about a month. I'm hopeful that my situation will get better in time. I miss hooping and my hoop and belly dance classes. Wish me luck everyone and I hope to be back soon.See More

I love art and dancing and my goal for this year is to learn how to belly dance and hoop. I would love to be in some sort of a group and perform. I'm also looking forward to making many new friends as I am new to San Diego and the hooping community

I'm so happy. I was in a bad situation for a bit but things are looking up again and I'm finally able to start taking hoop classes again. I just don't have the internet anymore so I don't get to visit this forum or any for that matter that often.

Oh geez am I feeling the blues today. Its been raining for two days straight and normally I love the rain but I'm just really down today. I finally got my new hoop yesterday and I was really excited about it but it got soaked in the rain so I was unable to use it to practice because I had to wait for it to dry. I bought the hoop from my hooping teacher and when she dropped it off it was just pouring so hard. Although we both had umbrella's that didn't prevent the hoop from getting soaked. The…

Well I didn't get my hoop today. I'll be getting my new hoop tomorrow so I'll be able to practice then. Today I went a tribal fusion belly dancing class. I really loved the class but it was an advanced class and I've never belly danced before so I just sat in and watched. The teacher there was really nice and she is letting me try her beginners class this Tuesday for free. I'm really excited.

Awww, thanks for adding me! I know I don't have any vids or anything posted by I've been hooping since August & am totally self-taught. The key is to not discourage yourself! Get a real hoop & practice, practice, practice -- no matter how silly you feel at first. Don't give up! You can totally do it =) Happy Hooping!

yay new hoop! i do wish you luck! its hard for sure, just got to keep it up. it took me a bit to get it to stay up, and it still falls down all the time! i spin faster and turn in a circle, that helps keep it up for me. ive been making my own hoops, it was a lot of fun i have a bunch now i could start selling them! gonna make my own LED hoop next.

I'm stuck in a loop with the hula hoop. When I was a little girl I was abused in every which way. Often I was grounded to my bedroom, with two bathroom visits and a dinner release. In my bedroom held my boom box. Loud music would draw my angry step father towards my room. But I had to dance, so from a young age I would take a few preventable beatings so I could dance in my bedroom. I haven't posted for a very long time, but I have something worth sharing.  In the last couple of years, I have advanced enough to start teaching and I absolutley love my classes.  All my students are wonderful its the most favorite part of my week. Through a very unfortunate series of events, every hoop I own, including my hoops for students, were taken and no longer in my possession.
