Hey beautiful hoopers...Ive been hooping for 9 months and Im getting my first polypro hoop for my B-day. Im getting two of them, but im a little nervous about ordering the wrong size , can anyone let me know whats a good size to start with? and on my second one im getting should I go smaller, so when Im ready I will have it on hand when its time to go a bit smaller. Thank you in advance. I'm a little OCD and Im scared to death of ordering the wrong sizes and having to return them. Peace…

I have been seeing this move alot, but I have no idea what its called or how to do it. I will try to explain it to the best of my knowledge. So, here it goes....the move looks like your hand hooping on your side, then they flick it out where it looks like its on a quick isolation then back to hand hooping or whatever move you choose. I remember thinking "wow, it's going to take forever before I look anything like these other hoopers" and I'm still a bit shocked every time I realize what this has become in my life. It's cool to know other hoopers in similar places in the journey. I posted this on my FB page the other day and it puts into words how I feel about being in my hoop:
My body is sore and tired, I'm getting over being sick (finally), I've got tons of things to do but no matter what I can't ignore my hoops. I need my fix, I need to twirl and spin and get lost in my hoops. And even though I already hooped today I'm still itching for them. I'm itching for music and movement and that feeling that I'm giving something my all. I feel whole in my hoops. It's soothing. In the same way that a comfy couch with a soft blanket and your favorite book and some cocoa can be. That is how I feel when I hoop.
